Happy Birthday, Tycho Brahe
Today is the birthday of Tycho Brahe, Danish astronomer (1546-1601). He's 464, if my math is correct. His gold nose has yet to be found.

I'll keep you posted about how another novel of mine, THE TRANSCENDENTAL DETECTIVE, will be published in November 2013 by the same fine publisher.

I just looked at that and said (to myself), "No, 1601 + 464 = 2065, not 2010." Then I realized that I was a nincompoop.
I'd like to blame the Benadryl but I think Milli Vanilli wore out that excuse.

Nevets: You, sir, would never make it as Imperial Mathematician. And you date yourself with your Milli Vanilli references. Tycho, of course, was more an MC Hammer kind of guy. Hammer never faked anything, yo.
Ah. Tycho. Looking good with that nose. Happy BIG one. The world just keeps on turning.
Hammer could turn this mutha out, but Big Daddy Kane was raw.
Nevets: Kepler turned him on to Run-DMC and later the Beastie Boys, y'all. Tycho returned the flavor and lent Kepler his Ice-T and NWA cassettes. Meanwhile, sucker-MC Galileo was listening to Vanilla Ice. No stone-cold MF pimp, he. Just saying.
Copernicus, though in a funk while wondering when Slick Rick would get out of jail, would have lent Galileo a Doug E Fresh tape as an ice-breaker, had only he asked.
