Astrologers in the wild

This is another dull "the rest is marketing" post, apparently. It's not what I had planned to write about today, but that's very likely for the best because I confess myself cranky. There are plenty enough curmudgeons on the interwebs without my contributions. But look, you: there's my book at the University Book Store in Seattle! Standing on David Baldacci's head, as it were.

  1. Did you turn it cover-out, or was it already like that?

  2. It was already faced out, which is nice. There are four or five copies on the shelf.

  3. I like that it has Miss Hargreaves (http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/7430121-miss-hargreaves) for company.

  4. The Baker was the only other book on that shelf I recognized.

I resisted the temptation to carry them all over to the "New and Notable" table.

  5. I'd go and move them for you, except I'm in Ohio. But it's the thought that counts, so it's cool.

  6. It was placed pretty prominently in the front at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park.

  7. Excellent! I worry that the stores who stock the book won't sell all their copies. Then I realize that these stores know more about their business than I do, so I try not to worry. And then I worry anyway.
