Ex libris Metro, Tuesday morning edition

Spotted on the bus:

T.E. Lawrence, The Seven Pillars of Wisdom
George R.R. Martin, A Dance With Dragons
Craig Taylor, Londoners
Albert Camus, The Stranger

and other books I was not forward enough to identify.

  1. At least some people are reading something. I see entirely too many cell-phones dominating people's lives. They are a spreading plague.

    1. Oh, today I don't care if people read books or not. If they want to be hypnotized by their eMasters, let them. Let them waste their lives on Facebook and Twitter. Let them be scandalized, titillated, and benumbed.

    2. Scott, even as I complain about the cell-phones and you rail against the eMasters, I find myself pondering the whole blogging diversion. I wonder if I dare throw stones at the cell-phone junkies when I have been accused of being addicted (for better or worse -- but generally negatively) to blog activities. Well, at least I am pondering the ironies, and using the keyboard to do so. Hmmmm.
