  1. memories: parading down the main street with the four other members of our german band at xmas, playing carols and accepting donations from the cits; doughnuts, candy, cigarettes, etc. a cheerful funloving time had by all...

    1. I remember busking with a folk rock band at the Boulder Mall in the 80s. We'd play until we had enough money to buy pizza and beer. Can one busk with a laptop and/or a turntable?

  2. I wonder if such funs-and-games and similar celebrations will eventually be banned as being insensitive to non-Christians. Yes, I really do wonder about that issue.

    2. I think people will always find reasons and ways to celebrate and make music. The marching band played old 1970's pop/rock music. It was great. When we got to the square, they had just started Jimi Hendrix' "Fire."
